Up-and-coming actress Park Min-young has recently been the media's center of attention with her doll-like appearance on the popular television drama 'I Am Sam.'

Some of her photos on her personal website were taken on the set of 'I Am Sam.' Fans have been raving over her adorable appearance, describing the actress as a "living doll."

Viewers are also talking about the equally adorable hair and fashion styles she has been sporting on the drama.

Jeon Do-yeon to Appear on CNN's "Talk Asia"


Actress Jeon Do-yeon, who won the Best Actress award at the latest Cannes Film Festival, will appear on CNN's talk show "Talk Asia."

The show introduces prominent people from Asia. Korean stars who have been invited to the show so far include singers Rain and BoA.

Jeon gave a two-hour interview to show host Anjali Rao, who visited Korea, on August 20.

In her interview, which was held in Maronier Park in downtown Seoul, Jeon spoke about her acting career.

Jeon, whose Cannes award has earned her global acclaim, was featured in Variety magazine as one of the 50 most influential women in the world.

Japanese Housewives Rank Lee, Choi the Best


The Korean pop culture boom called 'hallyu' has now become an established genre in Japan thanks to the overwhelming popularity of the Korean drama 'Winter Sonata,' especially among middle aged Japanese women.

Japanese entertainment portal Oricon Style recently polled 750 women in their 30s to 50s on their favorite Korean actor and actress.

The number one actor chosen was Lee Byeong-heon, which most women described as "cute." Others said they like his "bright smile" and at times "melancholy look."

Their favorite actress was Choi Ji-woo, citing her "beautiful looks and fun personality" and "child like humor as well as class and sexiness."

The next favorites were Kwon Sang-woo and Lee Young-ae. As for favorite Korean dramas, KBS's 'Winter Sonata' ranked first followed by MBC's 'Dae Jang Geum/Jewel In the Palace' and SBS's 'Celestial Stairs.'

Koreans want to travel with Song Seung-hun



A recent poll by Chosun asked 6950 respondents “Which male artist would they love to travel overseas with?”… and Song Seung-Heon tops the list.

Song has always been one of Koreans’ favourite stars since “Autumn in my Heart ”; he was hiatus for 2 years for military service and he is back now… and seems like the fans haven’t forgotten about him yet.

Came close at 2nd spot is actor Kwon Sang-woo. The amazing thing is that both Song and Kwon will be starring together in their next movie… the box office seems promising lol.

Fans Eagerly Await Wedding of Kim Hee-seon

2 Super Junior Members to Appear on Chinese TV Show

Siwon and Hankyung, members of the idol band Super Junior, visited China Wednesday as invited special guests on a lead Chinese entertainment show.

A Chinese satellite TV station, marking the show's tenth anniversary, invited the two Korean singers for a rare full hour appearance.

During the recording on Wednesday, the two showed a joint dance along with Hankyung's hip hop and traditional dances and a taekwondo demonstration by Siwon, to the applause of 800 audience members.

Tickets to the show's recording, randomly given out by drawing, were said to be sold for as much as 250,000 won.

The program will air nationwide on Aug. 18.

So Ji-Sub to Open Photo Gallery

Actor So Ji-sub will open a gallery on the portal website Naver showcasing photos and photo essays that he produced firsthand.

As an ardent fan of photography, So often posts his works on his website http://www.sojisub.com and personally writes explanations for his fans.

Back in November, the actor and his fans made a calendar using his photos.

The upcoming gallery will put on display landscape photos that the actor took in the United States and New Zealand. His photo essays will be posted in six installations over three months.
